Visiting the Museum

Thank you for your interest in the Ateneo Art Gallery. Here’s a quick guide on how to visit us.

Visiting Guidelines


  • Walk-ins are allowed.
  • All non-Ateneo guests visiting the Ateneo Art Gallery are required to present a valid photo ID upon entry to the Ateneo de Manila University Campus via Gate 3 or 3.5 (Regis Footbridge).
  • Ateneo employees and students already on campus for official business (e.g. F2F classes, onsite meetings, etc.) may simply present their ID at the lobby.
  • Visitors are encouraged to monitor their health prior to their visit. Guests that have symptoms or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 are encouraged to reschedule their visit to a different date. The Ateneo Art Gallery and the Ateneo de Manila University will not be held responsible for exposure to health risks while visiting museum premises.
  • Large bags are not allowed inside the museum galleries. In the interest of time, guests are encouraged to leave large items in their respective vehicles. Otherwise, bags may be deposited at the baggage counter located at the ground floor.
  • Pets are not allowed within the Ateneo de Manila University campus, as with the Ateneo Art Gallery's premises

Museum Fees

Php 100 per head for non-Ateneo guests. Php 50 for students with a valid school ID. Payments will be transacted upon entry.

For Ateneo alumni, an Ateneo Alumni Association (AAA) membership card may be presented to avail of free admission.

Guided tours may be availed with a fee. For tour requests, send an email to aag@ateneo.edu at least one (1) week before the scheduled visit.

For those who wish to donate in support of the Ateneo Art Gallery and its programs, donation boxes are found on every floor of the museum.


FAQ

Are pets allowed at the Ateneo Art Gallery?

  • Pets are not allowed within the Ateneo de Manila University campus, as with the Ateneo Art Gallery's premises

Can we take pictures/film at the Museum?

  • Photos for personal use are allowed at the Ateneo Art Gallery, so long as flash is not used. Commercial shoots (e.g advertising, staged shoots, prenups, etc.) are not allowed within the Ateneo campus, as with the Ateneo Art Gallery's premises.
  • Short clips (e.g. Stories, Panning shots) for personal use are allowed within certain locations at the Museum. Filming for vlogs, livestreams, TikTok, walking tours, and walkthroughs are not allowed.
  • For photo and video requests for educational purposes (e.g. school projects) and media coverage must be endorsed at least one (1) week in advance to aag@ateneo.edu with complete details (e.g. proposed date & time of shoot, locations, project brief, release date, etc.)

Can we visit other locations inside the Ateneo de Manila University campus?

  • Campus Access to Non-Ateneo guests are only limited to locations where public access is permitted (e.g. Church of Gesu, A-Shop, Ateneo University Press). Loitering inside campus is strictly prohibited.
