Dennis Ascalon (b. 1960) is a visual and theatre artist and photojournalist. In 1980, he studied comparative literature program at the University of the Philippines Visayas. Through playing with different materials and exploring other creative fields, he continually redefines himself. Throughout his artistic career, he held solo exhibitions, specifically Dekahon, an alter ego boxed collection in Bacolod City (2012) and Musical Chairs in Makati City (2010). He also participated in group exhibitions, specifically Man + Space in South Korea (2000), and Third Lake Naguri Open Air Exhibition in Japan (1991).
