Step Up and Write! Contest

Submit a 240-character poem about your favorite artwork at the Ateneo Art Gallery using words from Juan Alcazaren's Unblocked and get a chance to win exclusive merchandise from the museum shop!

Contest Mechanics:

1. Contest is open to students, faculty, and professionals.
2. Drop by Areté to visit the Ateneo Art Gallery (AAG) in the Arts Wing and check out the George SK Ty Learning Innovation Wing as well.
3. Choose a specific artwork on exhibit at the AAG and post a picture of it alongside a descriptive poem in 240 characters (spaces included).
4. All the verbs in your poem must be chosen from the words scattered on the stairs of both Areté wings as part of Juan Alcazaren's installation Unblocked. Your poem should be inspired by, comments on, somehow captions, or extrapolates from your chosen art work.
5. You may only post one entry for the contest.
6. Hashtag your post #AAGPoetry and tag Ateneo Art Gallery and Areté!
7. Deadline of entries is on 22 October 2018, Monday
